Biography

Eve Plumb, a multifaceted artist, initially gained recognition for her portrayal of Jan Brady in the iconic television sitcom "The Brady Bunch" (1969). Her professional acting career commenced in 1966, with appearances in television commercials, and she began landing recurring roles on series television in 1967.

Plumb's enduring presence in television history was solidified when she secured the role of Jan Brady, the middle sibling of three daughters, in the groundbreaking sitcom "The Brady Bunch". The show, which premiered in 1969, ran for an impressive five seasons, spawning numerous spin-offs. Although Plumb declined to reprise her role as Jan in the initial spin-off, the variety show "The Brady Bunch Variety Hour" (1976),she did appear as Jan in subsequent spin-offs featuring the original cast, including the television movie "The Brady Girls Get Married" (1981),the short-lived sitcom "The Brady Brides" (1981),the television movie "A Very Brady Christmas" (1988),and the short-lived television series "The Bradys" (1990).

Despite her consistent work in television since childhood, Eve Plumb's only other notable role was that of a teenage prostitute in the 1976 television movie "Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway".

In the 1990s, Plumb discovered a new creative outlet in painting, establishing a second artistic career. She currently works out of a studio at her Laguna Beach home, where she has honed her skills and continues to produce captivating works of art.
