Eva Maria Olivia Amurri Martino, an American film and television actress, was born on March 15, 1985, in New York City to Italian director Franco Amurri and American actress Susan Sarandon.
Growing up in a family of artists, Eva attended Friends Seminary in Manhattan for middle school, and later graduated from Saint Ann's School in Brooklyn, New York, and Brown University.
Eva's early career in acting began with small roles in films such as Bob Roberts in 1992 and Dead Man Walking in 1995. She continued to appear in various films throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, including Earthly Possessions, Anywhere But Here, and The Banger Sisters.
In the mid-2000s, Eva landed a guest role on the popular television show Friends, alongside her mother, in the episode "The One with Joey's New Brain" in 2001. She also appeared in the film Saved! in 2004.
