Many Puerto Ricans would aptly describe Eugenio's inception as an actor as "born with an actor's pedigree" due to the fact that both of his parents were esteemed acting legends in Puerto Rico. Interestingly, his brother, Rene, is also a well-established actor.
Eugenio holds a Bachelor's Degree in Acting from the University of Puerto Rico, in addition to a Master's Degree in Fine Arts in Directing and Acting from the University of Prague in Czechoslovakia.
