Ettore was born in a small village nestled in the northernmost region of Italy, where his early life was marked by a passion for motorcycles. At the tender age of 14, he envisioned a future as a motorcycle champion, driven by a sense of adventure and a need for speed.
However, fate had other plans. At 18, his life took a dramatic turn when he suffered a devastating accident while riding at a speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Miraculously, he survived the crash, but it marked the end of his motorcycle racing career.
In the aftermath of the accident, Ettore redirected his energy towards a new passion: the nightlife. He became the artistic director of over 50 one-night events, where he honed his skills as a party organizer. Three years later, he bid farewell to the nightlife scene and co-founded Cinescope, a renowned after-hours club in Italy, which featured 65 DJs and 18 hours of non-stop music.
Ettore's next chapter began in Rome, where he pursued his dream of becoming an actor. He threw himself into every possible role on film sets, learning the ins and outs of the industry. He eventually wrote and directed a few short films, which served as a springboard for his next move: relocating to Los Angeles to further develop his craft.
Years later, Ettore returned to Italy, where he landed roles in popular TV shows and films. It was during this time that he met his life partner and co-producer, Carolina Encarnación, with whom he shares a child, Hector Javier.
A sabbatical year spent in the Dominican Republic proved to be a transformative experience, and it was during this time that Ettore discovered his true calling as a filmmaker. He wrote, produced, and starred in his first feature film, "Sambá," which premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and received a nomination for Best International Narrative Feature.
In addition to his work in film, Ettore is also a published author. His debut book, "Senza Fiato," won the 2018 International Literary Award "Cittá di Cattolica" for best book.
