Biography

Norwegian comedian, actor, director, writer, and journalist Erlend Mørch hails from Oslo, where he pursued his passion for creative subjects and media studies at Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology.

In the early stages of his career, Mørch collaborated with the comedy collective Humornieu, producing short skits that gained popularity on YouTube. His versatility as a journalist led him to work with the culture-focused magazine NATT&DAG, where he penned articles centered around politics and social media.

In 2020, Mørch co-created and co-wrote the show Sigurd Fåkke Pult with Steinar Klouman Hallert for Discovery Norway, marking a significant milestone in his career as he transitioned to mainstream Norwegian media.

In the following years, Mørch continued to expand his creative horizons. In early 2023, he launched his own podcast, Radio Mørch, featuring one-on-one dialogues with a diverse range of guests for each episode. Later that year, he signed with the Norwegian national broadcasting channel NRK, where he would develop new content and continue producing Radio Mørch.

As part of his collaboration with NRK, Mørch co-created and co-hosted the podcast Både Erlend og Steinar with Steinar Klouman Hallert, focusing on thought experiments and discussions with the audience and hosts. This partnership continued with the co-writing and co-creation of the animated show Hellerudsvingen for NRK in 2024.
