Erika Tham, a talented actress of Chinese, Dutch, Malaysian, and Ukrainian descent, has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry, particularly with her role as Corki in the Nickelodeon series "Make It Pop".
Born in Singapore, Erika has had the unique experience of living in multiple countries across Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, China, and Thailand. Erika's journey in the entertainment industry began when she was spotted performing in a production of Oliver Twist at the PLA Opera House in Beijing. She was subsequently hand-selected by the London Olympic committee to play a key role in the Handover from China to England in the 2008 Olympic Closing Ceremonies.
After spending several summers at a performing arts summer camp in New York, Erika decided to pursue acting professionally. She booked a lead role on "Make It Pop" after only her second professional audition, a testament to her natural talent and dedication to her craft.
In addition to her work on "Make It Pop", Erika has also appeared in Nickelodeon's "The Other Kingdom". Her passion for acting is matched only by her love of music, which she discovered during her time on "Make It Pop".
Outside of performing, Erika enjoys a variety of hobbies, including photography, digital arts, health and fitness, and traveling. She is also an avid learner, maintaining a 97% average in school and exploring new ways to exercise.
Erika is deeply committed to environmental causes, particularly clean water and ocean conservation. As a person of Mixed-Asian heritage in the entertainment industry, she hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams, regardless of their ethnic background.
