Biography

Erica, a filmmaker from Casper, Wyoming, embarked on her cinematic journey at the tender age of 16 with a short film titled "The Stalker," in which she also starred. Following the success of "The Stalker," Erica relocated to Ocala, Florida, where she wrote, directed, and produced her first feature film, "Sins of the Flesh." This ambitious project was shot primarily in the storage room of the Hollywood video, where Erica and her co-stars worked at the time.

Erica's creative endeavors continued with the production of "For Kevin's Sake," a bumbling mob-comedy, and "Rag Doll," a tragically dramatic feature film that later helped raise money for a charity supporting abused children in Sanford, Florida.

As Erica's passion for horror began to resurface, she created a thriller/horror feature film, "Loverboy," inspired by the 1990's film FEAR. This was followed by "Mister White," a creepy creature feature loosely based on a Louisiana slave account.

Erica's subsequent move to southern Louisiana marked a significant chapter in her career, as she took on various roles, including company grip and day-player, on local films and TV shows such as NCIS: New Orleans, Claws, Scream: the TV show, Eat Brains Love, Preacher, Queen of the South, Sulphur Springs, and many more.

Before departing Louisiana, Erica dedicated several years to bringing her gory body-horror film, "Obsidian," to life. This project served as a love letter to the Southern state, showcasing Erica's unwavering passion for filmmaking.

Throughout her career, Erica has remained behind the camera, directing her first feature at 16 and continuing to do so to this day. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her numerous feature films, which she has written, directed, produced, DP'd, and edited. Erica has also worked in nearly every crew position, seeking a well-rounded education in applied film.

Her extensive body of work has earned Erica numerous accolades, including multiple Best Director Awards, Best Feature Film, Best Gore, Best Editing, and Best Horror Feature Film Awards across the globe.

Currently residing in West Haven, Connecticut, Erica is preparing for her next independent feature film, solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the world of independent filmmaking.
