Erica's journey in the entertainment industry was seemingly predetermined from a young age. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, she was exposed to the glamour and excitement of the industry through her mother, a renowned celebrity makeup artist and father, a Hall of Fame football star. As the oldest of four siblings, Erica began her career as a child model at the tender age of nine, appearing in numerous campaigns for prominent brands such as Macy's and Levi's.
As she grew older, Erica's passion for performance led her to create her own showcases, which eventually caught the attention of television producers. She went on to guest star in hit shows like Ally McBeal, Traffic Light, and Drake & Josh, laying the groundwork for her future success.
Now a young adult, Erica has honed her skills to portray a wide range of characters, from strong and sexy women to vulnerable and complicated individuals. Her breakout role came this summer in the Fuse network's original scripted series, The Hustle, in which she played Ya-Ya, an A&R professional navigating the cutthroat music industry while balancing personal relationships and professional loyalties.
The Hustle premiered to the highest ratings the network has ever seen, and a second season is eagerly anticipated. Erica's versatility and talent have also caught the attention of other networks, as she is set to guest star in the second season of the popular BET series The Real Husbands of Hollywood. Additionally, she recently wrapped production on the BET movie Let The Church Say Amen, alongside Leila Rochon and Steve Harris, directed by the acclaimed Regina King in her directorial debut.
