Biography

Eric Lee's martial arts journey began with his father, where he was introduced to the traditional Chinese martial art of Choi Li Fut. During this time, Kung Fu was a widely practiced discipline, and Eric was particularly inspired by the black and white series Won Duck Hing. As he entered his teenage years, Eric's formal training commenced at the age of 15, allowing him to explore various styles including Wing Chun and Southern Hung Ga.

Eric's training continued for several years, during which he had the opportunity to study under renowned instructors such as Al Dacascos and others. He also founded his own club in 1972, where he taught a range of martial arts disciplines. In addition to his mastery of empty-handed techniques, Eric was well-versed in the use of weapons.

As Eric progressed in his martial arts journey, he began competing in sparring, Kata, and weapons events. He enjoyed a remarkable undefeated streak in Kata and weapons competitions as a black belt, and his performances were often accompanied by his own musical compositions. Eric's competitive career came to a close in 1974, when he retired from competition.

Throughout his illustrious career, Eric accumulated an impressive array of accolades, including:
