Born in Israel in 1974, Erez Tadmor is a renowned Writer-Director from Tel-Aviv, Israel. He graduated from the prestigious "Camera Obscurs Film School" in Tel-Aviv, where he honed his craft and laid the foundation for his future success.
Tadmor's first short film, "Moosh", made a significant impact on the international film festival circuit, winning over 40 awards, including prestigious recognitions at the "World Fest" in Houston, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and many more.
In 2004, Tadmor collaborated with Guy Nattiv on the 7-minute drama "Strangers", which was commissioned by 20th Century Fox Searchlight. The film won the online short competition at the Sundance Film Festival and also screened in the competition at the Berlin Film Festival.
Another notable short film, "Offside", co-directed with Nattiv, took home the award for Best Short Film at the Manhattan International Short Film Festival in 2006.
Tadmor's feature film debut, "Strangers", co-directed with Nattiv, was accepted into the Sundance World Cinema Dramatic Competition in 2007. His second feature, "A Matter of Size", directed with Sharon Maymon, explores the themes of self-acceptance and body positivity in the world of sumo wrestling. The film won several awards, including the Audience Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Grand Prix and Special Jury Award at the Alpe d'Huez International Comedy Film Festival, and the Best Comedy award at the Traverse City Film Festival.
In 2014, Tadmor collaborated with Nattiv on the film "Magic Men", which won the Best Actor award at the Ophir Awards (Israel's equivalent of the Oscars).
Tadmor's 2015 film, "Wounded Land", won both the Best Director and Best Actor awards at the Ophir Awards, solidifying his reputation as a talented and accomplished filmmaker.
