Biography

Emmanuelle Chriqui was born in the vibrant city of Montreal, Quebec, to a family of Moroccan Jewish immigrants, Liliane (Benisty) and Albert Chriqui. At the tender age of two, her family made the move to the bustling metropolis of Toronto, where she would spend the next decade of her life.

As a precocious young girl, Chriqui's early foray into the world of show business came at the age of 10, when she landed a coveted role in a McDonald's commercial. This marked the beginning of her journey as a talented young actress.

Chriqui's family relocated to Vancouver when she was a bit older, and it was here that she began to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She made guest appearances in a number of popular television shows, including Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1990),Forever Knight (1992),Once a Thief (1996),and PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal (1996).

As she grew older, Chriqui's talents began to be recognized in Hollywood. Her breakthrough role came in 1999 with the film Detroit Rock City, and she soon found herself landing more and more prominent roles. One of her most memorable performances came in the 2000 film Snow Day, in which she played the alluring and charming "Claire Bonner."

Chriqui's impressive range and versatility as an actress were further showcased in a number of music videos and films throughout the early 2000s. One notable example is her appearance in rock band Hinder's "Lips of an Angel" music video, which was released in 2006.

In addition to her work in film and television, Chriqui has also been recognized for her talent with several award nominations. One of the most notable was her nomination for a DVDExclusive Award as Best Actress for her performance in the 2000 film 100 Girls.

Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, Chriqui continued to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She starred alongside Cameron Douglas in the 2005 film Adam and Eve, and she also had a recurring role on the popular HBO series Entourage, playing the lovable and sassy "Sloan" from 2004 to 2008.

Chriqui's impressive resume also includes a starring role opposite Adam Sandler in the 2008 film You Don't Mess with the Zohan. And, in 2015, she reprised her role as Sloan on the revived Entourage series.
