Emma Louise Reid, a talented individual, was born on January 21st, 1994, in Melbourne, Australia, to a family of two siblings, Kate and Sean, with a sister and a brother. Her parents, Vincent and Brenda, played significant roles in her upbringing, with Vincent working in the construction industry and Brenda being an accountant.
Emma's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of nine when she landed a lead role in a primary school play. This marked the start of her illustrious career, with subsequent lead roles in various school productions, including 'The Wiz', 'Fiddler on the Roof', and 'My Fair Lady'. Additionally, she was a part of the CPCA (Children's Performing Company of Australia) from the age of nine to twelve, where she honed her skills in singing, acting, and dancing.
Emma's academic achievements were equally impressive, as she graduated from high school in 2011 with outstanding results in Theatre Studies, Drama, Media, and Dance Studies. Her exceptional performance earned her a spot in the VCAA Season of Excellence Top Class Concerts (2012) for her drama solo and theatre studies monologue. Since 2011, she has been actively involved in extras and role work for film and television.
To further her skills, Emma has completed courses in screen acting, writing, and directing at prestigious Australian institutions such as VCA (Victorian College of the Arts),NIDA (National Institute of Music and Dramatic Art),and Latrobe University.
Unbeknownst to many, Emma has been an accomplished Irish dancer since the age of four, holding state and national titles, as well as an international medal.
