Emma Jill Appleton, born in December 1991 in Witney, Oxfordshire, England, began her journey in the entertainment industry as a teenager with a modelling career, which eventually led to her transition into acting in 2017. Her breakthrough role came when she was cast as Fay Brookstone in the BBC Three series Clique, playing the character for six episodes. This marked the beginning of her successful acting career, with her next notable role being that of Feef Symonds in the Channel 4 spy thriller Traitors, where she appeared in six episodes in 2019. Her impressive performance caught the attention of Netflix, leading to her landing a significant role as Princess Renfri alongside Henry Cavill in the fantasy drama series The Witcher, released in 2019.
