Emily Procter

Emily Procter, a Raleigh, North Carolina native, embarked on her academic journey at East Carolina University, where she initially sought to pursue a career in theatre, unfortunately, the department was at full capacity. Undeterred, she relocated to Los Angeles following her graduation, where she began to secure a series of minor roles in films, including the 1996 production of Jerry Maguire. Her big break, however, arrived when she was afforded the opportunity to audition for the critically acclaimed television series The West Wing, premiering in 1999, and subsequently landed the coveted part.
