Emily Pearse was born in the coastal city of Clearwater, Florida, a place known for its beautiful beaches and warm climate. She graduated from The Florida State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre, with a focus on performance. During her time at university, she was actively involved in a sketch comedy troupe called 30in60, and her stage credits include notable roles such as Dr. Elliot Sattler in Jurassic Park: The Musical and the Madame in The Maids.
After completing her degree, Emily made the move to Los Angeles in 2015 to pursue a career in film and television. Since then, she has appeared in a number of short films and has played a range of characters, including Nancy Drew in the comedy web-series New Hardy Boys in 2016. Her film work includes a role as Danielle Scott in the independent feature Philophobia: or the Fear of Falling in Love, released in 2019. Emily has also made television appearances, including playing Erica Roberts in Crude in 2017 and Mrs. Clarke in Icky Free Kids in 2018.
In addition to her film and television work, Emily has been involved in several national commercial campaigns, including those for Credit Karma, Tinder, and Samsung. Since late 2018, she has been based out of Atlanta, Georgia, where she is pursuing work in the southeast market.
To further develop her skills, Emily has completed the improv program at Upright Citizens Brigade and has taken classes at various studios around Los Angeles and Georgia, including Bramon Garcia Braun Studio, Alyson Horne Casting, and Laugh Lab with Lace Larrabee.
