Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Emily Klassen embarked on a lifelong journey of artistic expression, enthusiastically participating in every talent show, play, and musical she could find from a very young age. As she entered her teenage years, Emily discovered a profound passion for classical music, which would ultimately guide her towards a successful career as a professional soprano. She specialized in 17th and 18th Century music, allowing her unique voice to shine in a wide range of repertoire.

Throughout her illustrious career, Emily has had the privilege of performing with esteemed companies across North America and Europe. Her remarkable talent and dedication have earned her recognition and accolades, including a grant from the Canada Council of the Arts for her outstanding contributions to the field of Baroque Opera.

In addition to her work in classical music, Emily has also ventured into the world of television, appearing in several notable on-screen productions.
