Emily is a multifaceted artist based in Sydney, boasting a diverse range of talents that span across the realms of acting, singing, dancing, and writing. As a proud 2014 graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA),Emily has had the privilege of working across various mediums, including theatre, music, film, and television.
Her impressive theatre credits include notable productions such as 'Julius Caesar' with Bell Shakespeare Co, where she took on the roles of Calphurnia and Octavius, as well as 'Fun Home' with the Sydney Theatre Co and Melbourne Theatre Co, playing the part of Joan. Emily has also had the opportunity to work with the Griffin Theatre, starring in 'Wherever She Wanders' as Nikki, and 'Grounded' at the Parramatta Riverside Theatre, where she played the role of Pilot.
In addition to her work in theatre, Emily has also made a name for herself in the screen industry, with credits that include the Netflix original series 'A Perfect Pairing', where she played the role of Sam, and the Chanel 10/BBC 1 drama 'The Secrets She Keeps', in which she portrayed Detective Soussa. Emily's television career has also seen her appear in multiple seasons of the popular Australian drama 'Wentworth', playing the character of Mon Alston for Fremantle Media and Showcase.
As a writer, Emily has had the opportunity to collaborate with Village Roadshow Rough Diamond and has recently worked on the STAN series 'Year Of'. Emily's passion for dance is evident in her training with Danceworld Studios in 2011, and she continues to teach and perform regularly with Retrosweat, a popular 80s-inspired aerobic workout.
