Elžbieta Vozbinaitė, a talented individual, was born in 2000 in the vibrant city of Vilnius. In 2018, she successfully completed a two-year film course at the renowned Skalvija Film Academy, led by the experienced Andrius Blaževičius. Her outstanding diploma film earned her the prestigious "Skalvijukas" award for the best film.
Elzė continued to hone her craft, graduating from the esteemed film directing program at Screen Academy Scotland in 2023. Since then, she has been actively working as a writer-director on various films and music videos, as well as an assistant director in both high-end television and film productions. In addition, she has taken on the role of lecturer at the YoungBlood Film School, sharing her expertise with the next generation of filmmakers.
Elzė's passion for film extends beyond her own creative projects, as she is also an avid participant in international film-making workshops and festivals. Her recent music video received the esteemed audience award at the RIFF, and her latest short film premiered at the prestigious Alcine Film Festival.
As a testament to her dedication to the film industry, Elzė is also the founder of the @shortscapefest film festival, a platform that celebrates and showcases the work of emerging filmmakers. Currently, she is developing her next short film as part of the Lithuanian Shorts Film mentorship program, under the guidance of the experienced Marija Kavtaradzė.
