Ellen Wong

Ellen Wong was born in the city of Scarborough, located in the province of Ontario, in the country of Canada. Her acting career began with a notable role on the acclaimed television series "This Is Wonderland". She is most famously recognized for her portrayal of Knives Chau in the film "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World", where she shared the screen with esteemed actors Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Jason Schwartzman. Ellen underwent a rigorous audition process, competing against numerous hopefuls from around the world, to secure the coveted role of Knives Chau. Director Edgar Wright was drawn to Ellen's exceptional acting abilities, as well as her capacity to execute intense fight choreography with precision. During the production of "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World", the on-set trainer affectionately dubbed Ellen "The Ellen-nator", a testament to her impressive physical prowess.
