Elizabeth Sandy, a talented individual, was born in Melbourne, Australia to Margaret Waterson and Geoffrey Sandy. From a young age, Elizabeth's passion for dance drove her to pursue a career in the performing arts. However, her journey took an unexpected turn when she joined a theatre company at the tender age of 13, discovering her true calling in acting.
As fate would have it, Elizabeth was spotted by a youth agent during a production of 'Fame', which marked the beginning of her acting career. She soon found herself appearing in television commercials and various theatre productions, leading to her first network television appearance as a schoolgirl with an attitude on the popular Australian variety show, Hey Hey It's Saturday, in 1971.
Elizabeth's impressive film and television credits continued to grow, featuring recurring roles in iconic Australian productions such as Neighbours, Blue Heelers, and The Micallef Program. Her extensive career also included working on various television commercials and theatre productions.
In 2008, Elizabeth decided to take her talents to Los Angeles, where she continued to work steadily in film, television, and theatre, as well as producing several short and feature-length films, including the award-winning film Starting from Scratch in 2013.
After a successful stint in Los Angeles, Elizabeth returned to her hometown of Melbourne in 2020, where she continues to act, produce, and create, solidifying her position as a respected and accomplished individual in the entertainment industry.
