Elizabeth Guest, a talented actress born on a film set in Eugene, Oregon, was destined for a life in the acting profession. Her early start in the industry began when she auditioned alongside many other children in Los Angeles to be part of Steve Allen's "A Christmas Carol," landing her first professional role as a street urchin.
As a young student, Elizabeth studied at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatrical Institute in Los Angeles, where she honed her craft through numerous school plays over a period of five years. During her high school years, she developed her improv skills, performing weekly at Second City in Los Angeles, and has since become a regular at Upright Citizens Brigade.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Elizabeth is a skilled musician, having played guitar and sung in an all-girl rock band during her high school years, and continues to write and perform her own music. Her musical talents are just one aspect of her diverse interests, which also include writing and directing.
After graduating from high school, Elizabeth was accepted into the highly selective B.F.A acting program at the University of Southern California, but decided to switch her major to Cinema to explore a new field. During her college years, she made multiple short films, starring in many shorts and writing and directing her own. Her hard work paid off when she was cast in a three-episode arc as David Duchovny's student on "Californication," earning her SAG card.
Elizabeth's talents extend beyond acting, as she is also a skilled writer and director. Her short film "Nothing," directed by respected visual artist Tracey Snelling, was selected to screen at the 55th San Francisco International Film Festival in May 2012 and has been featured in festivals worldwide. In addition, her feature script made it into the final rounds for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab in 2013.
Elizabeth's most recent project is the feature film "Kill Her, Not Me," a thriller in which she stars and survives in the leading role.
