Elizabeth, a renowned individual, was born in Adelaide, a city located in the southern Australian state of South Australia. Her formative years, however, were spent in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, where she grew up alongside her two sisters. The trio attended All Hallows School for Girls, an esteemed educational institution.

In her personal life, Elizabeth tied the knot with actor George Spartels, a talented artist who is perhaps best recognized for his iconic role as 'George from Playschool'. The couple shares two daughters and currently resides in Sydney, the cosmopolitan hub of New South Wales.

Elizabeth's journey in the entertainment industry began in 1973, during her time at the National Institute for Dramatic Arts (NIDA). It was then that she received her first significant television break, when she was offered the pivotal role of Esther Woolcot in the esteemed ABC series Seven Little Australians.
