Elisabeth Ness is a talented performer and co-founder of Good Porpoise, a production company that creates socially conscious entertainment to make a positive impact on the world. She is a Yale alumna and has been recognized as one of the "50 Women Can Change the World in Entertainment and Media" by Take the Lead.
Elisabeth has appeared in various TV shows and films, including Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, CBS's Bull and FBI, and Marvel's Daredevil. She will also appear in the upcoming Apple TV+ mini-series Lady in the Lake alongside Natalie Portman, and has shot a scene with Kelsey Grammer for Netflix's Like Father.
Good Porpoise's short fiction films have received recognition in film festivals across the country, and Elisabeth produces, directs, and edits multiple mini-documentaries about non-profit organizations each year. She also created the critically-acclaimed digital comedy series Redheads Anonymous, which has garnered over 13 awards and 26 nominations across 28 festivals worldwide.
Elisabeth's directing credits include O, brave new world, Emma and the Squares, and Melody's Story, which have won several awards and nominations. Her producing credits include Coming Down to the Wire, Trigger, and En Route, which have also received recognition.
In addition to her work in film and television, Elisabeth has appeared onstage at various theaters, including Ars Nova, Signature, Olney, Atlantic Theater, Lincoln Center, Inwood Shakespeare, and the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Her voice can also be heard in video games, commercials, and corporate instructional videos, as well as singing on numerous albums, including the award-nominated Broadway Records Original Studio Cast Album of Like You Like It.
When not performing, producing, or creating, Elisabeth runs a monthly gathering for women entrepreneurs in the entertainment industry, writes song parodies, and conducts a choir that sings them on New Year's Eve.
