Eleanor Sharpe is a highly accomplished and esteemed filmmaker, having received a nomination from the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) for her outstanding work in the industry.
Prior to embarking on her illustrious career, Eleanor pursued her passion for filmmaking by studying at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS).
Throughout her impressive body of work, Eleanor has demonstrated her versatility and talent as a producer and director. Her television documentary credits include "Vivian Bullwinkel: An Australian Heroine" (2007),which aired on ABC1, as well as "Ballroom Rules" (2012),another ABC1 television documentary.
Eleanor's repertoire also includes the production of several short films, including "Healing Waters" (2011) and "The Last Waltz" (2011),showcasing her ability to excel in a variety of mediums and genres.
One of Eleanor's most notable achievements is her direction of the feature-length documentary "Curtain Call", which was selected for the official program at the Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) in 2014.
Eleanor's documentary "Remembering the Man" (2015) garnered widespread recognition, winning the Audience Award at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2015 and earning nominations for best feature documentary and best editing in a feature documentary at the 2016 AACTA Awards.
