Ekavali Khanna made her cinematic debut in the year 2014 with the film "Kaun kitne paani mein", a critically acclaimed project directed by the renowned national award-winning filmmaker Nila Madhab Panda. The same year, she worked alongside another national award-winning director, Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, in the film "Zed Plus", playing a significant role opposite Adil Hussein.
In 2014 and 2015, Khanna appeared in two more films: "Daasdev" directed by Sudhir Mishra and "Satra ko Shaadi Hai" directed by Arshad Sayed. She also made a guest appearance in the film "Bollywood Diaries" directed by K.D Satyam.
In 2015, she starred alongside Arvind Swamy in the film "Dear Dad", directed by Tanuj Brahmar. The following year, she acted in the Norwegian film "What will people say", directed by Iram Haq, which was an official entry in the Oscars 2019.
In 2018, Khanna appeared in the Hollywood film "Line of Descent", directed by Rohit Karn Batra, and also played a pivotal role in the film "Veere Di Wedding", directed by Shashank Ghosh. Additionally, she acted in the films "Chotte Nawab" directed by Kumud Chaudhary, "Dark Light" directed by Mayur Hardas, "Yaarjigri" directed by Amit Joshi, "Anaam" directed by Ganesh Shetty, and "Aadhar" directed by Suman Ghosh.
Khanna has also worked in Bangla films, such as "Kathmandu" directed by Raj Chakraborty, "Dwando" directed by Suman Ghosh, and "Nirontor" directed by Chandrashish Ray.
Furthermore, she has made her mark in the digital world by starring in popular web shows like "Out of Love", directed by Tigmangshu Dhuliya and Aijaz Khan, which is a hotstar exclusive series, and "Bombay Begums", directed by Alankrita Srivastava and Birnila Chatterjee, a Netflix series that portrays strong women of society.
