Person Biography:
Eiza González Reyna is a talented Mexican actress and singer born on January 30, 1990, in Mexico City, Mexico. Her mother, Glenda Reyna, is a former Mexican model. Eiza has an elder brother, Yulen, and tragically lost her father in a motorcycle accident when she was just 12 years old.
She studied at the American School Foundation and Edron Academy in Mexico City before joining the M & M Studio acting school, where she was trained by renowned actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola. Eiza then attended the Centro de Educación Artística, a prestigious entertainment educational institution in Mexico City, where she was discovered by producer-director Pedro Damián.
Eiza's breakthrough role came with the teen-oriented Mexican melodrama telenovela "Lola: Érase una vez" in 2007, where she played the starring role of Dolores "Lola" Valente. The show's huge popularity led to its airing in many countries across Latin America and the US.
Eiza has also released two albums, "Contracorriente" in 2009 and "Te Acordarás de Mí" in 2012, which debuted at #13 and #66 on the Mexico Top 100 Albums chart, respectively. She has appeared in several TV shows and films, including "Mujeres asesinas," "Sueña conmigo," "Almost Thirty," "Amores verdaderos," "Jem and the Holograms," "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," and "Baby Driver."
