Biography

Noted American performer, who deftly transitioned from the world of dance to that of makeup artistry, earning widespread acclaim and prestigious awards in the process. Prior to his pivot, Heim spent several years gracing the stages of Broadway musicals in New York City, where he honed his skills as a chorus dancer.

Subsequently, Heim made the bold decision to relocate to the vibrant city of Hollywood, where he landed a coveted position as a company dancer on various variety and musical programs. During this time, he had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed talents such as Red Skelton and Carol Burnett.

As the demand for television dance work began to wane, Heim demonstrated his remarkable adaptability by shifting his focus to the world of makeup artistry. This strategic move ultimately led to a major triumph in 1990, when he took home the esteemed Emmy Award for his outstanding work in daytime television.

Tragically, Heim's remarkable life was cut short when he succumbed to cancer at the tender age of 57, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and influence those in the entertainment industry to this day.
