Biography

Edith Fields is a veteran performer with a storied career in stage, screen, and television. Her impressive resume boasts a range of prestigious awards, including the Los Angeles Drama Critics Award, seven Drama Logue Awards, and a KABC Year End Radio Award.

Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, Fields began her career at the tender age of five, singing and dancing for community functions in her hometown. She continued to hone her craft in college productions and entertained troops with the U.S.O. during her time in the Army.

Fields' Los Angeles stage credits include the Theatre West Production of Like One Of The Family, for which she received a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and a Drama Logue Award. Her performance as Beth/Consuelo was praised by critics, with the Frontiers magazine calling her "dizzy and delightful" and the Hollywood Reporter declaring her a "showstopper."

She also won a Drama Logue Award for her portrayal of Rose, the mother, in Nuts at the Las Palmas Theatre, with the Los Angeles Times summarizing the critics' opinion as "Edith Fields is splendid!"

In addition to her stage work, Fields has appeared in numerous films, including Mr. Saturday Night, Dad, No Way Out, Three Men and a Little Lady, Big Trouble, Micki + Maude, Rampage, and Love Is All There Is.

Her television credits include HBO's Norma Jean & Marilyn, Following Her Heart, Amelia Earhart: The Final Flight, My First Love, and The Rockford Files.
