Edith Bukovics, a native of Vienna, Austria, was born and raised in a multitude of countries, having resided in Norway, The Netherlands, New Zealand, the United States, and the United Kingdom, due to her family's frequent relocations. Notably, she is the granddaughter of the renowned Austrian organist and composer, Anton Heiller, and the great-granddaughter of Emmerich Bukovics, a prominent actor and the Artistic Director of the Vienna Volkstheater. Moreover, Edith's extended family boasts a legacy of actresses, including Toni Von Bukovics and Adrienne Gessner.
Edith's passion for acting became evident at a young age, and she subsequently wrote, produced, and acted in numerous theatrical productions alongside her full-time education. She went on to earn a Master's degree in English from Cambridge University and then honed her craft at the prestigious Actor's Temple in London.
Edith's breakthrough in the film industry came with her leading role in the powerful Greek-Cypriot film, Secret Paths, and she has since collaborated with esteemed directors, including Vadim Jean and Julian Kemp, who have garnered BAFTA and FIPRESCI awards for their work.
Edith currently resides and works between the vibrant cities of New York and London.
