Edgar's life story began in Brooklyn, New York, where he was born to Edgar Sr., who has since passed away, and Thomasina Nicholson. He is the proud sibling of one sister, Mearline, and one brother, Gregory, who sadly left this world behind.
As a young individual, Edgar's fascination with the film industry was evident, but it wasn't until he delved behind the camera that his true passion became apparent. He would often watch documentaries on filmmaking, captivated by the "making of" and "behind the scenes" programs.
Edgar's first taste of being in front of the camera came when he landed a role as an extra in the John Travolta film "Primary Colors" in 1998. He has since expanded his experience by working as a background actor on several notable shows, including "OZ", "Law and Order", "Law and Order: SVU", and "Nurse Jackie".
Today, Edgar is a loving father to two children, Vanetta and Dwayne, and a doting grandfather to three grandkids, Jamel, Ramel, and Nyzell.
