Eddie Flake, a multi-talented individual, was born on October 29, 1981, in Santa Clara, California. His journey in the entertainment industry began with music, where his skills caught the attention of Tiki Entertainment, a prominent recording company in Hawaii. He was also granted his own radio show on 102.3 Da Bomb, a top urban radio station in Honolulu.
As his music career flourished in Hawaii, Eddie continued to establish himself as an artist and music producer in Florida, Texas, and California. He received his degree in Recordings Arts and Music Engineering from Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida.
In 2007, Eddie relocated to Los Angeles and expanded his career in the entertainment industry, transitioning into television production. He worked as a production assistant on various reality shows, including I Love New York, A Shot At Love, I Want To Work For Diddy, Miss Rap Supreme, Top Design, Beauty and The Geek, Click, College Hill, and Gold Diggers.
Eddie also worked as an audience coordinator for TV shows such as Hole In The Wall, Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, and Bingo America. After gaining experience in production, he moved from behind the scenes to the front of the camera, appearing in several movies, including Along Came Polly, Blue, Who Shot Mamba, Gods of Circumstances, and Friday Night at the DeWayne's.
As a multi-talent, Eddie continued to work on music while pursuing his film career. He worked as an assistant music engineer at renowned studios like Hollywood Sounds and Purple Rain Studio, producing music for international and local artists, such as Japan's hip hop artist Luna, hip hop group The Hitman, and Cash Money artist Veronica V.
Eddie further honed his acting skills by attending classes at The Groundlings and Margie Haber Studios, training under acting coaches Killian McHugh, Jill Alexander, and Mike Pointer. In 2013 and 2014, he produced and played a lead role in the TV pilot "Kode Orange: Los Angeles" and appeared in the independent film "Under A Red Blood Sky" and the feature film "Where Children Play," starring Brian White, Macy Gray, and Teyonah Parris.
