Eddie Davenport, a multifaceted individual, hails from Tarpon Springs, Florida, and has made a name for himself as a talented actor and stunt double. His journey in the performing arts began in the fall of 2001, when he took the stage at St. Petersburg College, landing the lead role in Christopher Durang's critically acclaimed production of "Actors Nightmare". The instant applause and laughter he received solidified his passion for the craft, and he knew that performing was his true calling.
Following his impressive debut, Eddie continued to hone his skills on the SPC stage, eventually transferring to the University of Central Florida in 2002 as a Theatre Major. During his time at UCF, he gained valuable experience as a performer at Universal Studios Orlando, while also working night shows at Pirates Dinner Adventure on International Drive. It was here that he developed his expertise in fight choreography, sword fighting, and high falls, skills that would serve him well in his future endeavors.
In 2006, Eddie made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles, driven by his ambition to pursue a career in film and television. Since then, he has appeared in numerous blockbuster films and has accumulated an impressive resume, boasting over 100 episodes of television, both as an actor and stunt double. His most recent accolades include a 2022 Satellite Award for Best Stunt Performance in The Suicide Squad, as well as a Series Regular role as the antagonist Internal Affairs Investigator, Robert Zakia, in the Drama Series Bronx SIU. This latter role earned the show a prestigious award for Best Ensemble Cast for a Drama Series at the 2020 Indie Series Awards.
