Ed Skudder is a multifaceted creative force, simultaneously donning the hats of director, writer, animator, and musician, as he embarks on an exciting new chapter as the head of story for the highly anticipated Illumination film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, slated for release in 2023.
Prior to this venture, Skudder made a significant impact in the world of animation, serving as the co-developer, show runner, and co-executive producer of the Cartoon Network animated series Unikitty!, which premiered in 2017.
In addition to his work on Unikitty!, Skudder is also the visionary mastermind behind the animated web series Dick Figures, which debuted in 2010, and co-writer and co-director of its feature film adaptation, Dick Figures: The Movie, which was successfully funded through Kickstarter in 2013.
