Suri, a renowned Indian movie director, gained widespread recognition after the success of his debut film, Duniya, which earned him the prestigious 2006-2007 Karnataka State Film Awards in the Best Screenplay category.
Prior to his directorial debut, Suri had a diverse background in visual arts, television, and documentaries. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Kalamandira School of Arts in Bangalore in 1999.
