Dufflyn Lammers is a multifaceted artist and writer who has made a significant impact in the entertainment and literary worlds.
In 2018, she presented an excerpt of her solo show "DISCOVERED" at the She Recovers conference in LA, receiving a standing ovation from a sold-out crowd.
The solo show, directed by Jake Smith and Rebecca Johannsen, has been performed on the West End in London, UK, and at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, where Lammers was nominated for a Duende award.
As a performer, Lammers has appeared on various TV shows, including "Criminal Minds" (CBS),"Entourage" (HBO),and in numerous commercials and independent films.
Her poem "Single Life" was featured on Russell Simmons' Def Poetry Jam on HBO, and she has also written, produced, and starred in the short film "Raven," which won Best Experimental Short at the 2011 LA International Underground Film Festival.
Lammers is a seasoned poet who has led her Los Feliz slam team to the National Poetry Slam for five consecutive years. She has also brought her poetry show to universities across the USA, from Smith College to UC Irvine.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Lammers is a writer and editor who has published essays and poems in various journals, including Adelaide magazine, and has co-edited "Chorus" with Saul Williams, published by Simon & Schuster in 2010.
Lammers has also been recognized for her writing, winning the Silver Medal from the Solas Awards for Best Travel Writing in the Love category in 2018.
Currently, Lammers is an International Recovery Coach and Interventionist, using her creative writing and improv skills to teach recovery skills to individuals struggling with substance use disorder.
