Biography

Duane Martin is a triple threat in Hollywood, showcasing his versatility beyond the acting arena. With his captivating good looks and impeccable comedic timing, he has earned recognition in the acting world. Additionally, he is an accomplished writer and producer.

Duane's notable film credits include starring in and producing "The Seat Filler" (2004),which he distributed through his company, "The Momentum Experience". This innovative approach involves buying out a large theater and offering a full entertainment experience. The film was a huge success, enjoying a $50,000 per screen average and being chosen to close the 8th Annual Urbanworld Film Festival. Duane sold the film to Magnolia Pictures, which released it on DVD to great success.

He has also starred in films such as "Deliver Us from Eva" (2003) opposite LL Cool J and Gabrielle Union, and "Ride or Die" (2003) opposite Vivica A. Fox. Duane is currently producing the comedy "Mother's Day" with Will Smith's "Overbrook Entertainment" and has sold the golf comedy "Inglewoods" to New Line Cinema.

Duane's extensive acting credits also include "What Boys Like" (2003),"Any Given Sunday" (1999),"Scream 2", "Down Periscope", "White Men Can't Jump", "Woo", "The Faculty", and "Above the Rim".

In television, Duane is currently the only black male lead on a half-hour comedy, starring on CW's hit series "All Of Us", which is loosely based on the lives of his longtime friends, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. He has also made guest appearances on shows such as "Abby", "Yes Dear", "Girlfriends", "Between Brothers", "Living Single", and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". Duane produced and starred in the acclaimed FOX series "Getting Personal" and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his role in the CBS telefilm "Different Worlds: An Interracial Love Story".

A native of New York and NYU graduate, Duane was drafted by the New York Knicks before pursuing an acting career. His love for sports and entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to start his own sports agency, Impact Sports, which represents 50 clients and holds $1 billion in contracts. Impact has become the premier sports agency in the industry, handling some of the most sought-after players in the NFL, NHL, and MLB.

Duane has also acquired an extensive real estate holdings portfolio and recently launched a real estate company aimed at revitalizing homes in the inner-city by giving underprivileged families the opportunity to become homeowners.

Duane lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Tisha Campbell-Martin, and their son.
