As a filmmaker, Fortier has directed the critically acclaimed rock documentary "Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie", and has also worked as a guitarist for the band Bang Tango.

In addition to his work in film, Fortier has also made a name for himself as a musician, co-founding the band The Lucid with Vinnie Dombroski, David Ellefson, and Mike Heller.

Fortier's acting career has been marked by a range of roles, including his portrayal of a fictionalized version of himself in the critically acclaimed found footage horror film "Dwellers".
