At the tender age of nine months, Drake's fascination with television commercials featuring babies and toddlers was so intense that it would prompt him to enthusiastically slap the TV screen, exclaiming "Drake do it!" as he proceeded to reenact the commercial. This peculiar habit persisted for the next three years, with Drake tirelessly attempting to elicit laughter from those around him by mimicking child roles on TV.
Just prior to his fourth birthday, a family friend intervened, convincing Drake's parents to allow him to participate in a short film at the age of three. Noticing Drake's innate affinity for the camera, his pursuit of an acting career began to take shape. He subsequently secured representation and has remained committed to his craft ever since.
Drake made his theatrical debut on the acclaimed series "Six Feet Under," with the distinction of being directed by the accomplished Kathy Bates. His first starring role emerged in 2006, when he appeared in the Western "Desolation Canyon" alongside esteemed actors Stacy Keach, Patrick Duffy, and A. Martinez.
