As a teenager, he operated a hot dog cart business, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit from a young age. In his twenties, Doug toured the world as the official host for Chippendale's, a popular adult entertainment company. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of acting, which would become a successful career.
As a working actor, Doug has had a leading role in over a dozen feature films and has also hosted several television shows, including the History Channel's "Where Did It Come From?" and served as a celebrity judge on "Beauty and the Geek". In addition to his acting career, Doug has also showcased his carpentry skills by creating furniture as a hobby, which eventually led him to become a Construction Coordinator.
With his carpentry skills and experience in set design, Doug founded 41 Sets, a set design and construction company that has worked on several Comedy Central shows, including "The Man Show" and "Crank Yankers". His company, 41 Sets, is based at Hollywood Center Studios, where Doug's talent and expertise have earned him the opportunity to have his own space on the lot.
