Dorothée, a multifaceted individual, has made a name for herself primarily as an actress, yet her profound passion for Jazz has been a constant thread throughout her career.

In the year 2000, Dorothée participated in the "elles chantent" project, an initiative that brought together numerous individuals, each invited to perform their favorite songs.

As an actress, Dorothée has garnered recognition for her outstanding performances in several notable films, including "Les invasions barbares", "Le violon rouge", and "Jack Paradise". Furthermore, she has made appearances in numerous Quebec-based television shows, such as "Les dames de coeur", "Terre humaine", "La vie la vie", "Tribu.com", and "Cauchemar d'amour".

During her travels in New York in the 1990s, Dorothée developed a deep appreciation for Jazz. Upon her return to Montréal, she began performing at the esteemed club "au sofa", subsequently taking the stage at the prestigious Festival de jazz de Montréal in 1999.

Dorothée's inaugural album was released in the year 2000, marking the beginning of her musical journey.
