Don Borza's life journey began in Detroit, Michigan, where his fascination with film and television was kindled from a young age. Growing up in the city's suburbs, he nurtured his passion, which would eventually become a lifelong career.
After his junior hockey career came to a close, Borza made his acting debut in a local horror film shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This initial foray into the world of acting led to a string of small, uncredited roles in films and television shows, including the 1984 blockbuster "The Untouchables" and the TV series "Crime Story".
In 1984, Borza made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto, where he quickly established himself as a working actor, landing small credited and uncredited roles in over 50 films and TV shows that were shot in the city between 1984 and 1987.
The next chapter in Borza's journey took him to Los Angeles, where he landed a co-starring role in the final episode of the popular TV series "Tour of Duty". Although the show was not renewed, the role led to a three-episode contract, cementing Borza's status as a professional actor.
Fast-forward to 2018, and Borza has evolved into a seasoned film and television producer, boasting over 25 years of industry experience. His impressive résumé includes numerous film and television projects, as well as a slew of award-winning commercials that have earned 14 regional Emmy Awards.
In addition to his commercial production credits, Borza is also the president of an independent record label, Milwaukee Junction Records, where he continues to nurture his passion for music and the arts.
Throughout his illustrious career, Borza has been recognized with numerous accolades, including six regional Emmy nominations, of which he has won three. His impressive body of work is a testament to his dedication, perseverance, and creativity.
