As a young individual, Don made the decision to relocate 25 minutes north of the city, settling in the suburban area of Slidell, Louisiana. Don's academic pursuits took him to Slidell High School, where he earned his diploma in 1993. He then furthered his education by attending Southern University of Baton Rouge, where he spent a year honing his skills before transferring to The Art Institute of Houston.
