Biography

Diana Tenes, a multifaceted and innovative individual, hails from the picturesque city of San Jose, California, and spent her formative years in the vibrant San Francisco Bay area. Her journey in the world of entertainment began in junior high school, where she first discovered her passion for acting. However, her creative endeavors soon expanded to include Fashion and Costume design, a path that would ultimately lead her to achieve great acclaim.

Diana's talent and dedication earned her a full scholarship to the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, allowing her to relocate to Los Angeles and pursue her Associate Degree in Fashion Design. Her remarkable designs have garnered numerous awards, including the Black Filmmaker Hall of Fame/I.Peri -Outstanding Designer in the Bay Area, Excellence in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute, and a medal for Jewelry Design from the Santa Clara County Fair.

Undeterred by her newfound success, Diana continued her academic pursuits at San Francisco State University, where she rekindled her interest in acting by designing costumes for the Chicano Theatre Department. She ultimately earned her Bachelor's Degree in Art: Conceptual Design/Performance Art from San Francisco State.

As an accomplished actress, Diana has worked tirelessly in corporate videos, commercials, and independent films since 1994. Her impressive repertoire includes roles in films such as "Everything Strange and New," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2009, as well as "Love in Absentia" and "Chocolates," both of which have circulated at film festivals across the United States.

Diana's collaborations with acclaimed Writer/Director H.P. Mendoza have yielded notable results, including her role as "Emily ll" and key makeup artist in the International Award-winning film "I AM A Ghost." Her impressive list of celebrity makeup clients includes the likes of Dr. Dean Ornish, Seane Corn, Saul David Raye, and many more.

In addition to her work in film, Diana has also had the privilege of dressing Hollywood's finest, including legends such as Cicely Tyson, Louise Fletcher, Lea DeLaria, and Julie Brown. Her membership in the Costume Designers Guild 892 for several years further solidified her reputation as a talented and versatile creative force.

Throughout her illustrious career, Diana Tenes has consistently demonstrated her remarkable range and adaptability, making her a true standout in the worlds of Fashion, Costume design, and acting.
