Dian, a devoted mother of three, embarked on an unplanned yet remarkable career path as a producer and director, driven by her ardent desire to create a Malaysia where her children could flourish in an environment of equality, devoid of racial and skin color barriers. This vision of a society founded on meritocracy and justice has been the guiding force behind her endeavors.
Prior to the 14th General Elections, Dian was actively involved in various initiatives aimed at increasing voter awareness, including a campaign to encourage students to return to their hometowns to exercise their right to vote. This experience sparked her journey to document the inspiring efforts of Tun Mahathir in revamping the political system, with the initial intention of preserving his indomitable spirit for future elections.
As a result of this endeavor, Dian reached out to her friend Marina Mahathir to initiate coverage of Tun Mahathir's election campaign, seeking to document his tireless efforts. The rest, as they say, is history.
Dian resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she is also an entrepreneur and yoga teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the esteemed Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
