Des is a multifaceted individual, donning the hats of Actor, Writer, Producer, and Director, and hailing from Dublin, Ireland. Prior to pursuing his artistic endeavors, he spent years honing his culinary skills, graduating from a chef training program. However, his true passion lay elsewhere, and he subsequently returned to academia to study at the renowned Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, under the guidance of the esteemed Antoinette Duffy and Patrick Sutton.
Throughout his career, Des has accumulated an impressive array of credits, featuring in numerous Irish short films. His most recent and notable role is that of the lead character in the Irish independent thriller, Fractional, which is slated for release in early 2013. This highly anticipated film has already garnered significant recognition, having taken home the award for Best Screenplay at the 2012 IFS Film Festival in Los Angeles, California.
