Desmond, a Maryland native, embarked on a journey of self-discovery through drama club in his formative high school years, which ultimately led him to participate in local youth summer-stock productions and community theater upon graduation.
As he entered adulthood, Desmond began his professional career in live entertainment at the tender age of nineteen, taking on various roles in theme park shows and dinner theater both domestically and abroad. This experience allowed him to hone his skills and gain valuable industry knowledge.
In his late twenties, Desmond made the transition to film, relocating to Austin, Texas, New York City, and Los Angeles to pursue his passion. During this period, he became a proud member of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
As he approached his mid-thirties, Desmond returned to live entertainment, spending a few more years performing overseas. Simultaneously, he also worked on film projects in foreign markets, further expanding his repertoire.
The COVID-19 pandemic presented an opportunity for Desmond to redirect his focus, and he enrolled in school to study programming. Initially, he explored web development, and later, he delved into real-time 3D. After completing his studies, Desmond earned a Bachelor of Science in Interactive Media with a focus in Game Design.
