Biography

Derek Brandon made the permanent move to Los Angeles and secured a role in the sequel to "Unbroken", titled "Unbroken; Path to Redemption". Although he is perhaps most well-known for his lead role as "Mickey" in the Mickey Matson film franchise, including "Adventures of Mickey Matson and the Copperhead Conspiracy" and "Pirate's Code: The Adventures of Mickey Matson", Derek has had a prolific career in the entertainment industry, starring in over 15 films, numerous commercials, webisodes, and voice-overs.

Derek's passion for acting began at the tender age of four, when he would re-enact every film he watched. His parents, recognizing his natural talent, enrolled him in the local theater, which led to numerous acting opportunities both on and off stage. With each experience, his passion for acting continued to grow.

After graduating high school in the top 10, Derek made the bold decision to head straight to Los Angeles, where he believes the possibilities are endless. He is eager to take his career to the next level and is excited to see what the future holds.
