Biography

Dennis Rodman, an American retired professional basketball player, spent his illustrious career playing for five teams in the National Basketball Association (NBA),including the Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks.

Known as "The Worm", Rodman's impressive skills on the court earned him a reputation as a fierce defender and rebounder, playing at both the small forward and power forward positions throughout his career.

Seven times, he was selected to the NBA All-Defensive First Team, and twice, he won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award, showcasing his exceptional defensive abilities.

Additionally, Rodman led the NBA in rebounds per game for a record seven consecutive years, and his impressive five NBA championships solidified his position as one of the greatest rebounding forwards in NBA history.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements, the Pistons retired his No. 10 jersey on April 1, 2011, and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame later that year.

Beyond his professional basketball career, Rodman has also pursued other passions, including part-time professional wrestling and acting.

As a professional wrestler, he joined the nWo and fought alongside Hulk Hogan at two Bash at the Beach events, and he won the Celebrity Championship Wrestling tournament, becoming the first-ever winner.

In television, Rodman starred in his own show, The Rodman World Tour (1996),and had lead roles in the action films Double Team (1997) and Simon Sez (1999).

He also appeared in several reality TV series, showcasing his versatility and talent beyond the basketball court.
