Demian has developed an extensive portfolio of work within the music video industry, which he began building after graduating from New York University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1988. As a result, he has established himself as a prominent and rising talent in the field of Feature Film Direction.
Throughout his career, Demian has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of notable artists, directing music videos for iconic musicians such as Sting and Eric Clapton, as well as Grandmaster Caz, Shabba Ranks, Queen Latifah, and Cypress Hill. His impressive portfolio also includes work with renowned brands and organizations, including Sony, Warner Bros, Columbia Pictures, MCA, Epic, Island, Atlantic, Tommy Boy, and I.R.S. Records, in addition to non-profit entities like the World Hunger Project and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
In addition to his work in the music video industry, Demian has also held leadership positions within the film community. He served as the Chairman of the New York Independent Film Coalition for two years, during which time he oversaw the organization's operations and initiatives. Furthermore, Demian has demonstrated his versatility by directing, producing, writing, photographing, taping, and recording audio for over 225 features, short films, music videos, commercials, and concerts.
