Deborah's extensive background encompasses a unique trifecta of skills, including accounting, casting direction, and styling. Prior to venturing into film production, she spent ten years as the production coordinator and sales representative for Richard Foster Photography Ltd., where her leadership abilities were first showcased. In fact, she was a keynote speaker at a national conference of artists representatives in New York, sponsored by the Creative Black Book.
As Richard Foster Photography Ltd. transitioned into film production, Deborah took on the role of executive producer, overseeing every aspect of their television commercial productions. Her exceptional ability to produce high-quality finished products with impressive production values, coupled with her accounting background, allows her to efficiently manage production budgets and deliver projects on time. Her impressive client roster includes renowned brands such as McDonald's, Kellogg's, Royal Crown Cola, Stouffer Hotels, Corona Beer, Pizza Hut, Uncle Ben's, Bell Telephone Systems, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Mazzios, Village Inn/Bakers Square, and Anheuser Busch.
Deborah is a proud member of Women in Film and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers. Alongside her writing partner, Richard, she has developed and written four feature films, as well as an anthology dramatic television series with thirteen completed episodes and thirteen more in development. Her production credits also include the pilot of a children's series, The Scientific Adventures Of Doctor Theory.
So This Is Christmas is the first of many projects slated for production, chosen for its efficient budget structure, capitalization of the teen market, and inherent "legs" in both theatrical release and television and video markets year after year.
